Create a payment

Explains Yuze payment options, handling all payments, change calculation, transaction lookup, and cloud card payment cancellation.

Once your order is ready and the customer is ready to pay all you need to do is press "Pay". This is where you can choose how the customer wishes to pay, and the amount they would like to pay.

1) To change the payment method, click on the options at the top.

2) If the customer wants to pay the exact amount, all you need to do is press "Pay Cash/Credit Card/Gift Card". If you have pressed Pay Credit Card and are using Yuze P2 Mini or P2 Pro, the TidyPay app screen will show so the customer can take payment. You will be directed back to Yuze once the payment has been processed.

3) The order will be processed, and you will be greeted with the following screen. On this screen, you're able to print the customer receipt, add a cash tip and create a new sale.

Change

If the customer pays more than the amount, and the customer wants a cash change. You can enter how much you have been given here, this will work out the change once the transaction has been paid.

Finding a transaction

To find this transaction go into the Menu and press Transaction. It'll be the first transaction to show. You can then reprint the customer receipt, refund the transaction (Manager only) and unpay (Manager only).

Cloud card payments

If your card machine is separate from your Point of Sale your payment Yuze will be set up in "Cloud" mode. This means when you press Credit Card a popup will come out to ask which card reader you would like to connect to.

Cancel a cloud card payment

Once you have selected a card reader, to cancel the payment press "Cancel" on the card reader.
