Test Network Printers

Covers how to test network printers and basic troubleshooting steps: power, paper, Wi-Fi, and matching IP addresses.

If there is an issue with your network printers, you can test them to diagnose the issue.

1) Click on the Menu button on the right-hand side corner.

2) Select settings from the sidebar.

3) Select printers from the sidebar.

4) All the network printers are displayed in this section. You will also see the test button for every printer. Press the test button, you should receive a paper with Printer Test on it.

Troubleshooting Printers:

If nothing is printed from the printer after pressing test, there may be some simple issues.

They are:

1. Check the Power:

Make sure the power is turned on. You can see the flashing lights back side of printer if it is turned on.

2. Check the Paper:

Before testing, check if the printer has paper in it.

3. Check the Internet connection:

Make sure the printer is connected to internet via Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable. Also, the devices should be connected to same Wi-Fi network. (Network Printers and Card Readers).

4. Check IP address:

The printer IP address should be matched with the IP address in the network printers. If not, nothing will be printed.
