If there are changes to your Elavon or TidyPay setup, running parameters are necessary to get the changes/updates and apply them to a device. Depending on what mode your card reader is set to depends on how to do this.

In cloud mode, the card machines and the Yuze app are linked. The payments can be processed in both kiosks and card machines.

1) When you are in cloud mode, the screen remains in the same state, you cannot navigate to the home page or other apps. This is what the screen looks like:

2) To see settings, you need to press the top centre screen. Then you can see the settings button.

3) Press the button settings, the Enter pin screen will appear.

4) Enter the pin and press ok. You can see the settings now.

5) Now, click on Parameters, which will run sometime, and you can see the parameters screen. Press the back button, and the app will have updated to the latest settings.

1) In managed mode, the devices are not linked. You can directly take payments from the Yuze app. In this mode, you can easily navigate back and open other apps.

2) If you want to run the parameters in managed mode, you need to open the Tidy Pay Terminal app and you can see the settings page.

3) Click the parameters to run it. Press exit and then go back onto the Yuze app to continue taking payments using the Yuze app.
